The Melbourne Eastern Private Hospital (formerly Mountain District Private Hospital) was purpose built as a private hospital in 1982 and is licensed for 40 beds. The modern facilities are set amongst picturesque gardens at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges.

There are two fully equipped operating theatres and a day-procedure room. Surgical specialties offered include: Orthopaedic, Ear, Nose and Throat, Ophthalmology, Dental, Dermatology, Plastic, Gynaecology, General Surgery including Lap Banding, and Endoscopy. In addition, we offer General Medical and Specialist Pain Management services, Radiology, Physiotherapy, Pathology and Social Work services.
